Book an Appointment

I appreciate all my clients, and am steadily grateful for all who choose to work with me.

It is my preference that all who will be booking with me read this information beforehand so as to avoid any confusion which may arise as a result of lack of research or communication. That being said, here are some answers to some frequently asked questions as well as standard tattoo protocol which many of you may already know if you have been tattooed before (by me or others).

If you know the drill already, please scroll down to the bottom.

  1. Please read all below information.

  2. Contact me via the form below to tell me your proposed idea and your contact information.

  3. My scheduling assistant will then reach out to you via email to have a brief exchange of ideas and expectations. If a consultation is needed, I will then send you a link to schedule a 20-minute consultation to discuss your tattoo in person.

  4. Following a successful consultation, we will schedule the appointment for your actual tattoo and you will leave a deposit to secure your spot.

  5. I will be holding 2-3 days worth of consultations every few months, with each consultation allowing for 20 minutes of discussion. When I run out of time slots, I will also be proportionately out of spots to book for tattoos. This is intentional so I do not have to make my clients WAIT months in between each session. If I take a more manageable workload, my clients will not have to wait extremely long in between appointments to finish their large projects and I can better focus my attention on a smaller amount of people at once so I can do the best job possible.

Shop Etiquette

  1. I do not allow children in the shop (even though I totally love them, obviously). I work with biohazardous materials (needles, used ink caps and rinse cups, other materials which come in contact with blood) and would not want any children to come anywhere near these items. By no fault of their own, they can also be distracting and limit the time and concentration level of both the client and the artist; we are there to make your tattoo exceptional and bringing minors in the shop can negate that success.

  2. At this time, please come alone to your appointment (with very few exceptions). I am doing my part to minimize human interactions, despite my own personal feelings on the C19 situation. I will ask that my clients respect this as well.

  3. Please try to eat before your appointment, as this will help you endure the hours of tattooing more efficiently.

Appointment Etiquette

  1. All appointments require a non-refundable $200 deposit. This goes toward your tattoo. You will leave a deposit upon booking your appointment, AFTER your consultation. This is standard for all tattoo shops. The deposit goes toward the price of your tattoo, and is to be deducted upon the final session of your tattoo (which varies obviously by amount of sessions needed).

  2. If you NEED to reschedule your appointment, the SOONEST notice possible is preferred. I will reschedule you and will be able to take another client for the time you are unable to make. I do not accept last minute cancellations or rescheduling. Of course, life can be unpredictable but in my experience, people tend to abuse my understanding nature. If you fail to show up to your appointment or fail to give me sufficient notice that you need to reschedule, you will forfeit your deposit, as I have stated above and in all my email footers that they are non-refundable. Tattooers are not salary workers; if you do not show up to your appointment we do not get paid hourly by a higher source. We simply do not make money that day, which is hazardous for those of us with families.

  3. If you reschedule more than 3 times in a row, I will forfeit you as a client, as I need to give priority to those who are able to make their appointments.

  4. If you have time constraints (as living on this island I maintain a lot of military clientele) and have a date you would like to be done by, please communicate this to me immediately as I will be sure to do my best to make sure we can finish your piece by the time you are moving. This is very important. Although I will often come in my days off to accomodate my clients, I am also a mother and full-time student, so I am not able to drop everything to finish as a result of poor planning.

Working Together

  1. We will be discussing your tattoo hopes, and align them with realistic expectations with the intent of creating the best tattoo possible as I respect that this will be on you permanently.

  2. I will not copy others work. I am even hesitant to attempt to do tattoos in the style of others you have found online. Can I put my own spin on it? Absolutely, I’d love to. But at this point in my 14 years of tattooing, I have established and feel very comfortable in my style and what I can do best and will not wildly deviate from it. Do not take offense, this is because I know what I am good at and in the end, I just want to do the best tattoo possible for you, instead of making a tattoo that is an amalgamation of several other artists.

  3. Any proposed changes or compromises I may suggest are 100% in favor of doing a great tattoo. Do not be offended, I have been tattooing for a long time and trust me when I say that if I make a point to express something is not possible to add in / take out, it is TRULY because I care and not out of laziness or spite. I have made the mistake in the past of doing tattoos exactly how people thought they wanted them and have often been met years later with those same loyal clients expressing that they had wished we would have went with the changes I had proposed prior.

Thank You!

…for taking the time to read these guidelines and information. This is important to avoid mishaps that have occurred in the past. I love my clients and genuinely want to do my best for all of you. Please proceed below to contact me about making an appointment. The inquiry will reach my inbox where I will reply to them in the order they are received. Mahalo!

This is a standard form which I would like all my potential clients to fill out. Please give me just enough information to sufficiently provide me with an idea of what you would like, however, please do not get too extensive as we will possibly be meeting in person to discuss said tattoo at one point.

I am located near Pucks Alley and the new UH dorms in the Mo’ili’ili area of Honolulu. The pin above shows where my shop is located. Consultations are timed at 20 minutes max. The streets you can park on without meters are outlined below in red. You can take the risk of parking across the street at Longs Drugs for short periods of time (consultations). However, I would highly advise not parking there for actual appointments, which run usually for hours and can incur tickets from Longs Drugs.
